When talking to a good friend is no longer enough - turn
to over 30 years of experience and expertise.
I have offered solution focused counseling to individuals, couples and families
for over three decades. I am a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UCLA in the area of
Psychology, and earned my Masters from Cal Berkeley in Psychiatric Social Work.
Through my career in mental health, I have worked as a clinician, consultant and
Program director, and have supervised medical residents going through
psychiatric rotations.
I have also
taught classes at UCI extension in Psychology, interpersonal relationships and
communication skills. I have been
involved in the area of Divorce Mediation for 25 years, and in the field of
Collaborative Divorce Coaching for the past several years as well.
Throughout my career, my goal for those I have worked with remains
constant: creating the possibility for change within a safe environment that
inspires personal growth and clarity
I have been a resident of the Irvine/Newport
Beach area for nearly 35 years,
while remaining an active
participant in community affairs
and raising a family. I am proud
to say that I have been happily
married for over 39 years and am
the mother of two grown
children, both of whom are
enjoying their own successes in
their careers and marriages. I
can fully appreciate the
challenges and rewards of
maintaining these family
relationships while nurturing
and enriching my own personal
